Niobium oxide capacitors AVX NOJ, NLJ, etc.
Niobium oxide Capacitors OxiCap are solid-state electrolytic capacitors based on niobium oxide (NbO) anode material instead of traditional tantalum, offering solutions from non-tantalum materials. Niobium is a widely available material, following tantalum in the periodic table with many similar characteristics. Some advantages over tantalum come from niobium oxides, which are all stable with very specific characteristics for each oxide number, which is used in the unique OxiCap® manufacturing technology for processing niobium oxide powders as the main material for the anode.
Niobium oxide capacitors are capacitors with extremely stable performance characteristics, with a high level of reliability of 0.5% / 1000 hours at 85 ° C or higher, high safety technology with fireproof failure mode with high resistance and high breakdown voltage. OxiCap® is available in variants with low ESR, high CV, low profile, temperatures up to 125°C and multi-node technologies. It is an environmentally friendly technology that meets the requirements of RoHS, in the same shape, body size and the same or similar technical characteristics as standard tantalum capacitors. Capacitors are offered with rated voltage up to 10 V and high capacity. Most of the series meet the requirements of AEC-Q200. All niobium oxide capacitors are supplied in an orange insulating material.
Series: NOJ, NLJ, NOS Low ESR, NOM.
